On the day of Halloween

I think you may have something happening on the day of Halloween. If im not mistaken it was a skin contest but I think that will just be boring. I would just be submitting skins I found on the internet. A skin contest in no fun because most of the people that participate will take skins off the internet. I think instead of a skin contest if we are going to do it is a death day on the server. This is were you will back up the server. Everything on the server. You will then remove all claims. That day will be a day of death. We could have the server going into chaos were everyone can kill everyone else. This will get more of a reaction out of people then a skin contest will. If this happens it will be a really fun day on the server. It will attract more people and there is a chance that if someone were to win they get a beacon as a prize, or maybe a full set of god armor. I have been thinking about this for a long time. You could provide everyone were they click a command block a full set of diamond armor. People can either kill others, grief towns they hate , and do both. I think this will be a fun day on the server because it will be a stress reliever. It will be a day were you can get ride of all the stress built up over the past months. It will be a relaxing day and a fun day on the server. Thanks for looking at this -Blue

Just some thoughts I had on this idea:
+ Might be enjoyable for some people

- Is think this is *very* unlikely to happen anytime, and here's why:
The server is based around a friendly community style and meant to be enjoyable for everyone.
I think if people saw the anarchy during this they won't likely return, plus the server might get bad publicity from this, (There's a reason why hackers or cheaters flock to anarchy servers), also I think this could get out of control really fast.

There's another aspect with this, not many Server hosters offer the ability to fully back up or restore a server, so setting this up or preparing it will be a literal nightmare.... (not to mention the cleanup afterwards).

It's way more likely that Chris will do another PVP event or something related.
I think the only way we'd ever experience something like this Server-wide is if Sky dares to touch the Towny 'War' function- but that's also connected to more preparation and testing to ensure it works as planned, but I don't think that will happen in the near future...... (sadly, that could actually be fun...)

We could do something edgy for Halloween. My idea: everyone who wants to participate signs a waiver and enters their address on the website. The server picks one of the names at random. Then I go to the home on All Hallows Eve and torture the residents to death with bad candy.  The server then auctions off all their possessions to keep the server funded for years to come.

Maybe instead of having all out warfare we do something completely different than a skin contest because it is kinda boring to say that we are going to celebrate halloween then do a skin contest. maybe you can make the whole of spawn a hide n seek map or for a day go around yourself and scaring people using cool commands and make a YouTube channel out of it. Those are just some other ideas instead of a Halloween costume.
